Bologna is the capital city of Emilia-Romagna, a region in northern Italy, and is also known as the gastronomic capital of Italy. It has been nicknamed "la rossa" (the red) because of its colorful architecture, and it has numerous attractions and much to offer travelers of all budgets.

I would sooooooo love to visit Italy.....perhaps a cruise! Our son, now 24, went to Italy a few years ago with a college group for 2 weeks.......he absolutely loved it and didn't want to come home. He took 500+ pictures over there!
