Every summer vacation, we make a stop (or two) in Tillamook, Oregon. First for the Tillamook Cheese Factory and the other for the Tillamook Air Museum that houses World War II aircraft and memorabilia.
The kids always have a blast exploring the several aircrafts that are actually "hands on" throughout the Tillamook Air Museum. (I've posted a few photos of them) It's also very education and interesting.Â
We spend atleast an hour here each and everytime we stop. They also have a movie you can watch, a 50's style cafe and of course a gift shop!
Tillamook Air Museum is an aviation museum located south of Tillamook, Oregon at the Tillamook Airport . The museum is housed in a former military blimp hangar, called "Hangar B", which is the largest clear-span wooden structure in the world. Tillamook Air Museum has been described as one of the country's top private World War II aircraft collections.
