I love travel - it broadens the mind... and the waistline! Seriously though, whenever and wherever you travel, make sure you sample the local food. It's a great way to find out something about the culture of the place you're staying. If you're ever in Toronto, there's a great restaurant overlooking the harbour - right in the corner of the beach (although I've forgotten the name). Best seafood ever :)

Hi Tony Haven't decided whether to stay in this country or go abroad yet. Mum and Dad have got one of those fantastic cruise deals and they'll be swanning around the Med over Christmas and the New Year which they are very excited about - I'm not sure that Christmas in the sun would be the same though.....The other option would be to stay in the this country but go away for two or three days. I think they are called Turkey and Tinsel trips which sounds a bit old fashioned but I really fancy the idea of Christmas in a luxury hotel with someone doing all the cooking for me LOL What about you?
